Upstate Concert Hall has been a concert staple in Clifton Park for well over twenty years, whether under its former name Northern Lights or Park West. However, the venue will be relocating from Clifton Park to downtown Albany. And many lovers of the performing arts are quite familiar with its new location. Upstate Concert Hall will take over the former Capital Rep building on North Pearl Street. The new venue hopes to feature two stages and host up to 1300 people.
Construction in the building has begun, but no word yet on an opening date due to the pandemic. Also no word on if the current location will re-open in the meantime, although there are concerts scheduled for March 2021 according to their calendar.
