Store Owners Speak Out As Miami Beach Bans South Beach Liquor Store Sales

Upset South Beach liquor store owners speaking out after the city of Miami Beach enacts a four-day ban on liquor store sales from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. starting today. Sobe Liquors owner Marchella Dimartino says this is illegal and she will lose at least twenty-thousand-dollars this weekend alone. She says she will not be able to afford her rent so she plans on handing her bill to the city and asking for reimbursement. The owner of another nearby store is suing the city, saying it's unfair and unjust since bars and nightclubs in the entertainment district can stay open and sell alcohol without any restrictions.
