A Miami woman has been arrested for stealing an ambulance in Port St. Lucie, while wearing a hospital gown.
25-year-old Marquisa Allen was sitting on a bench outside HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital on Wednesday afternoon when police say she jumped into the driver's seat of an ambulance left by paramedics who were dropping off a patient.
She was later arrested while stuck in traffic on the Turnpike in Martin County.
Apparently Allen was unaware of the GPS tracker in the ambulance which led the Florida Highway Patrol right to her.
