Sen. Rubio/Rep. Demings Square Off In Only Debate

The gloves are coming off in the fight for Florida's U.S. Senate seat.

The candidates, Republican incumbent Marco Rubio and Democratic challenger and current Congresswoman Val Demings, blasting each other in their one and only debate.

The candidates hit on a number of topics including abortion, gun legislation and the American Rescue Plan, but spent much of the debate attacking each other.

Rubio also criticized Demings for never having passed a bill even though she has been in congress over five years, something the Congresswoman disputes.

Meanwhile, the RealClearPolitics.com average has Rubio leading by almost five points.
