Miami, FL - The roof of a South Florida strip mall partially collapsed due to heavy rains early Friday morning.
The collapse happened around 4 a.m. along West Flagler Street and Southwest 47th Avenue.
The damage mostly affected a coin laundry business, with the back corner of the roof caved in, covering the floor with water.
The strip mall houses eight businesses that will remain closed until engineers determine whether the structure is safe to reopen.
No injuries were reported during Friday's collapse.
